Visited The Plough and Harrow Drakes Broughton on Sunday 2nd January 2011 with a party of four to celebrate my sister-in-law's Birhday. First impressions COLD. Despite Pershore being one of the coldest places in Britain lately, there did not appear to be any heat on. The radiators were lukewarm, and no fires were lit. We ordered our first courses which arrived fairly shortly and were satisfactory. We had along wait for our main courses, during which we moved tables as we were so cold. We moved to a table near a radiator but that was only lukewarm! When our meals did eventually arrive with no apologies or explaination for the delay, one of the meals was undercooked. My brother-in law had ordered fried cod, when he removed the batter the fish inside was raw. We had to walk round the premises to find a waitress who took the meal away. By the time the recooked fish arrived the three of us had finished our meal, and had to sit and watch hime eat his meal. At this point it would have been a nice gesture to offer us a complimentary drink or cup of coffee to have while he was eating his meal, nother was said or offered. We will not be visiting this establishment again

Table reserved fo six adults at 7pm table near fire requested. Very disappointing definitely one to avoid in the future. Restaurant cold, no heating on anywhere, no fire and it was a chilly evening in March. Poor welcome by staff they were cold just like the empty restaurant, no atmosphere, no fresh flowers, uninviting. Food unavailable that was ordered. I ended up with roast dinner and salad as they had no veg left!!! The traditional curry was like bubble and squeak with carrots!!! Service was very poor and the waitresses of which there were many forgot our basic requests, ie no soup spoons, bread arrived after we had eaten starters, no dessert spoons for 8 minutes. my staff dinner that was to be held here we have now cancelled after such a terrible meal. They are trying to cut costs and they have gone too far. I don't think they even employ a chef now I think the watresses all muck in with cooking the meals and that is what it ends up as. Would I return to the Plough and Harrow at Drakes Broughton Pershore, never1
