After reading Paul Samuals review of the Rythre Arms I just had to reply. My name is Pam and I was the waitress that worked that night. Nearly all that review is a lie. Firstly vegetables do not go out of the kitchen like mush, the chef wouldn't allow it and neither would the owner, considering the size of the portions and the amount of veg and potatoes that go out with each meal how ridiculous to say that just because you got served sliced potatoes it was penny pinching! As for me and my colleague being rude and unpleasant that is such an absolute lie. Working as a waitress part of my job is to be polite and pleasant to all customers. Its out of respect for people in general and people I work for that regardless of how I am feeling, when I get to work I am always polite to the customers. As for saying the waiter was rude and unpleasant, how absurd. The only thing you could say about him is that he is too polite, either to people he works with or the customers. The only person being very rude and very unpleasant is you.

What a disappointment the steak was over cooked and dry / tastless the vegetables that came with it were overcooked and like mush, horrible and sliced new potatoes talk about cutting corners and penny pinching then the bill came which was wrong!! The waiter and waitress were very rude and i think they expected me and my elderly mother to actually like this over cooked and over priced rubbish we were presented with as they were both very put out when we pointed out what a wasted trip we had, they didnt offer to reconcile any over our issues and instead persisted in being rude, and very unpleasant. So thinking about the Ryther Arms ..... think again!!!!!
