I went to the new inn for a bite to eat before our spa day treat, the pub has always been nice in the past as however I had not been for about 8 or so years since I last went with my family, however what a shock I got, me and my friend ordered a tuna melt and a cheddar and onion melt, the lady behind the bar was very slow at serving however she did say she was helping out therefore we were patient, the menu did not state if the tuna melt was with cheese therefore my friend asked the lady kindly if it came with cheese just to make sure , the bar lady was confused and said shed go check she came back to say they will melt cheese on top we assumed that she was confused and the chefs would know to put it inside anyway half hour later the waitress cane out with a tuna cols sandwich in a bap and a cheese and salad sandwich when we had ordered MELTS nothing was toasted ether were just sandwiches, we told the waitress we'd ordered melts not sandwiches the cheeky young waitress was very rude and said that the sandwiches were melts (how can cold sandwhiches be melts der) she didn't even try and check and told us to sort it out with the bar lady, we went back to the bar lady and she truly didn't understand what a melt was neither did the chefs by the looks of it we asked for our money back no apology just god dam rudeness. I will never go there again the worst food and customer service I've ever come across!!!!!'
