Went last night, as usual the food was something special, home made chunky chips,the rump steak was delicious, for the price and quality, and very friendly atmosphere we wouldnt go anywhere else.

the travellers doesnt look much but once inside you receive a warm welcome and comfortable surroundings. what is to be boasted about is the food- in essence its good quality pub grub. the menu is extensive for such a small place with a changing specials board as well. the prices are very resonable and the portions generous, they serve real chips too- a real bonus! its a thwaites pub serving thwaites beer, with all the usual larger etc to choose from. all in all a good place to go for a meal and a quiet-ish night out.
