Good Points: The room was exceptionally good. Large, clean and recently refuburbished. Away from any traffic noise and very peaceful. The dinner in the evening was just supurb. Fresh produce, served hot in sensible portions and exquisite to taste. We were very impressed. Staff very good and helpful.
Bad Points: The restaurant and bar area were rather outdated, pseudo barn style woodwork looked tired and in need of a make over. The chairs had rather jaded fabric covers.
General review: We had an enjoyable stay and loved the room. We rated it one of the best we had ever stayed in. The quality of the food and friendly staff more than made up for the rather tired bar furniture! We intend to to use it again as the room rate was very competitive and affordable.
