We will be back.
The Strathmore is once again (and about time too) being really well run. Warm, bright, friendly and open all hours.
A real treat. If you doubt me ask the locals.

Our motorbike club held a summer camp over the road and some family members used the pub B&B. Rooms were described as first class, as was the breakfast. The new landlords (young couple with a baby daughter) had just been there 3 weeks. Beer was excellent - Taylors Landlord, plus Bombardier. Live music was on one night which we much enjoyed. It's a small pub, bit out of the way, but well worth trying, especially the B&B. There is a Farm kitchen over the road which serves good food until 5 pm. Good fish n chips in Middleton is an option too.
