The food in this restaurant seems to vary hugely according to what you have and which chef is on. If you want medium steak then you need to order rare. My starter was absolutely lovely, my main course was fine but a little boring and my pudding was half and half (lovely crumble, tasteless apple).

Never have i been more comfetable in a restuarant with the kindest of staff that made me and my wife feel so welcome. The food was the best we had on any holiday we had been on in my 32 years or marrage. We wish we had found it earlier in are week stay in berwick.

I would steer clear of this place. I went for lunch, the food left a lot to be desired.... after ordering a chicken dish under the sandwich menu I was presented with several bits of chicken swimming around in what appeared to be sweet chilli sauce from a jar with a piece of pitta bread floated on the top. I received possibly the worst service i've ever had, with the waitress, upon presenting my bill, leaving me for a while then informing she'd be with me in a few minutes before flouncing off to the kitchen and leaving the door wide open so she could be seen having a nice little chat and a giggle while the other waitress proceeded to set up tables all around me and ignore the situation too. By this point the restaurant was all but empty so there was entirely no need to leave someone sitting there. Poor, very poor.
