Good Points: Staff sorted out problems promptly. Food was good. Bad Points: Very disappointed with room having viewed it on the web site, reality was something else. Dark and in need of updating. Blackened grouting in bathroom and horrible shower curtain that stuck to you. Poor lighting. General review: From the web site expected a higher standard.

Good Points: The staff were friendly and efficient. The hotel is well located and was easyto find. The event attended was actually at the hotel so the food and bar were sampled and were excellent. Bad Points: Active hotels had not notified the hotel of my reservation fortunatley there was a room available so whilst the check in is marked at fair this is a reflection on active rather than the hotel. This could so easily tarnished my view of the reservation on the internet. General review: With the exception of the reservation notification the experience was good to excellent. The rack rate is probably on the high side for the dated decor of the room etc. But obviously this is a chicken and egg situation without capital investment is restricted.
