When booking to celebrate my partner's birthday I told them I am diabetic and a pud other than fruit salad would be nice. The chef made me a sugar substitute bread and butter pudding. It was good as was the rest of the meal. Waiting staff on the ball and very pleasant. Only down side was a party of diners on the next table who were extremely loud but some of them were American so they behaved as all Americans do. We will go there again.

Whilst staying in the area we came upon this delightful bistro/restaurant and booked to eat that evening. Very glad we had booked as it is extremely popular with locals as well as holiday makers and every table was full. Despite being extremely busy service was prompt and our waitress was very polite and clearly knowledgeable, explaining the specials and was aware of the requirements of a gluten free diet(which I have to follow). When rolls arrived for my husband, rice cakes were provided for me without any request which was thoughtful and showed awareness of my needs. The menu is varied and would appeal to all tastes and budgets, the house wine was reasonably priced. The meals we chose were freshly cooked and showed use of seasonal and local ingredients. They were very well presented and delicious. Portions were all a good size and vegetables arrived in separate dishes for you to help yourself. Spoilt for choice for desserts, which again were well presented. Would definetly recommend a visit here if you are staying in the area or live locally to it.
