Re: Richard Murray's written review on 18 Feb.08 & I fully endorse is comments at the lack of thought towards the disabled. I have visited Rainton Meadows regular for the past six weeks and have yet to see any improvement to accommodate these people. The stiles mentioned are badly designed for some pensioners never mind the disabled, and as for the shaped metal access gate-ways they are not much better. I was there one day when a woman & her husband ( who was disabled ) were in the car park, and for all he had a disability moped they could not go anywhere.

Date visited: Regular since 1/08/08

Rainton Meadows has stiles instead of gates making it virtually inaccessible to wheelchair users surely this against the DDA
