I phoned and had to listen to an lot of repetitive messages costing me a fortune. When I finally got to speak to someone, I was then told at 3.15pm to come to the surgery to see the duty doctor as there were only 2 people waiting. 3.30pm I arrived, 4.30pm I left having seen no one. No explanation. The service at this practice is appalling - they have a captive audience on the island and if you are old or unemployed you are fine. Sorry to be so harsh but this is the result of the few attempts I have made to see a doctor at this practice. Can anyone recommend their doctor as we can shortly choose who we go to. An efficient service would be much appreciated.

I rang this morning to ask Dr. Mossman to progress a medical report for my mother Lou Cook. Not only did I have to wait for 5 minutes to get through to reception, but the waiting time was charged at an extortiate rate for the 0844 number. I also found the repetitive condescending recorded voice messages making my blood pressure rise. It would be much more satisfactory for the line to be engaged until a slot was available for the call to be taken. I regret I can find no praise for my contact with you this morning. Paul Cook
