I stayed in a Dickins apartment which was absolutely wonderful! On our arrival there was a welcome pack including tea, coffee, biscuits and even a bottle of wine! The apartment itself was in a great location, it was clean & had everything one would need for a self catering holiday and along with our keys we were given Dickins Insider Tips on where to drink, eat, etc which was a very nice touch!! I would recommend Dickins as they offer a professional, friendly service as well as a fantastic selection of apartments at a reasonable cost. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back again......hopefully to the same apartment.....if its available!!

Good Points: Free Parking, Convenient bus links into the city, specious clean and shops nearby. Bad Points: Had trouble finding the apartments. General review: Found these apartments really good value compared to the cost of staying in the city.

Good Points: Amazing views, comfortable beds, very spacious, great kitchen for entertaining, underground car parking. Overall excellent experience - will definitely be back again! General review: Fabulous location for views and much better than a hotel stay. Given location, we hired a car and found this very helpful and appreciated the underground car park. Check in was very easy and informative. Utilised the tourist information stand, in reception, to go on Mary Kings Close tour - also very informative! Great pace for a weekend, or longer stay. Really felt like a home away from home - but much better views than home! Had a very enjoyable stay and will be coming back and telling all our friends about it!

Good Points: Very comfortable, lots of room, water nearby, good health club to use with pools Bad Points: No change of sheets after day 1 or making of beds etc. Location confusing, checkin -was given wrong room (already occupied), construction going on early outside. General Review: I would have liked to have been told about the construction outside and that there were no cleaners coming in to make beds etc. It might have influenced my decision. It was none the less good having the pool/ health facilities nearby and the water.

Good Points: Fabulous views from both sides (the sea on one and all the way accross to Edinburgh castle from the other!)Clean, tidy and well laid out. A pleasure to stay with you and very welcoming staff on arrival. Cereal and milk was a nice touch. Bad Points: I'm being picky because your asking... It was difficult checking in in the city center and then onwards again to the apartments but the bus network is good and the shuttle bus was avaliable but with limited times. No soap for the bathroom or kitchen, just needed a little one. General Review: Directions would be good when booking including a map to print with bus numbers and routes to assist in getting around. Not just 'a small walk of 7-10 minutes' with no idea of which way. Overall a very pleasurable stay for business and I plan to return with my girlfriend for a nice weekend.
