Good afternoon. I visited the store on Saturday to have some photos printed, I keyed in the information and pressed for an hours service. I went and did my shopping and when finished went to collect my photo's - about two hours after I had left them. Unfortunately I was told the machine had broken down and they were not ready - so I waited around the town for a further hour and collected the photos later. each time I was at the desk the queue was really long and I had to wait ages. when I collected them it was the same so I left without checking my photos - when i arrived home - four of my photos had heads and legs cut out of them. So I had to go back again on Monday. The young man on the till put my disc in and set it up again - and said my photos would be ready today. I went back for my third visit (again a long wait to be served) to be told they were not ready - I decided to wait and talk to the more senior assistant, who found my photos at once - however still with the heads off. Liz the assistant very kindly went to the machine and put them through again and has told me they will be read in an hour and theat she would sort them out personally for me. My problem with all of the hassle is - it is supposed to be a quick one hour service. The queue's are ridiculous especially when you are in your lunch hour like I have been on the last two visits - all Saturday cost me was an extra hour car parking and coffee while I waited. The service from this department is specialised and each customer seems to take a long time to process - whilst this is good customer service - it is not to the people in the queue behind. I know in these days of cut backs stores atre keeping the staff to the minimum - but in a service like this you need to have more staff available. I was not given any discount because I did not get the hours service I paid for. I think the young man is a little inexperienced so cannot really blame him - in fact I do not hold the staff responsible at all - they do their best under difficult circumstances and are always pleasant but based on my experience over the last three days I do not think I will be taking my photo's to your store again and sadly my friend who was with me has said the same thing. Otherwise we love the Boots store in Salisbury.
