We found Ard-na-Coille after it was recommended to us by friends. I didn't think there were any 5 star guest houses in the Highlands.....well there is and it doesn't disappoint. We booked the Superking Room, a really large sumptuous room with amazing views from the dual aspect windows. The lovely en suite included a corner bath and a double size shower. We stayed for 1 week and it was lovely - Jacquie and Mike are excellent hosts and Jacquie is a great cook. I cannot recommend Ard-na-Coille highly enough, we are back in 2008 with our friends for another week! Can't wait!!

We found "Ard-na-Coille" on the internet and it was described as a 5 star Guest House. Upon arrival, it was easy to see how they recvd this rating from VisitScotland and the AA. Put simply, it was the best Guest House my wife and I have ever stayed at - and we are quite well travelled. Our four poster room was very large and very comfortable with a chez longe and also a seating area in the bay window. The views from every window were just breathtaking as the Guest House is elevated and unoverlooked. We were gutted to have only booked a 1 night as the other places we stayed at were rubbish. The breakfast was superb - we were not rushed, everything cooked fresh and a Bucks Fizz on arriving at the Dining Room, what a lovely touch. We have already booked in for July 2008 and we are bringing friends! Yes, it is that good - we would not hesitate to recommend "Ard-na-Coille to anyone. Jacquie and Mike are the perfect hosts.
