We visited the railway again and as always enjoyed it. The weather was kind this time but the lake looked as glorious as ever. The train is always pulled by a steam engine and it was Merlin this time. We broke our journey at The Dam and had a coffee and took in the visitor center Then we caught the next train back to the car park. I thoroughly recommende this journey as the scenary is great and the railway friendly. The adult fare is £3.50 and child £2 and you can make a day of it so its great value.
