Yesterday we went to Thornes to buy a chicken for our granddaughter. We are complete novices in this field.
It turned out to be an joy to visit such a friendly garden centre.
We both commented on the amazing, helpfull, professional service. They were expert in their care and kindness towards the chickens they keep.
We came away with two chickens. Not that we felt pressurised into buying two but it was best for the chickens.
Our granddaughter was delighted with her present. We are looking forward to our next visit.
