The Fox Inn wilbarston was built as an inn and dates back to the 14th century, it was the second building to be built in the village after the church and has seen the village develope to what it is today, it holds many great memories and stories to the locals some of which families have been coming to the pub for many generations! We are proud to be associated with Wilbarston Hall, the venue is famous for hosting live music and is promoted by LOUD PROMOTIONS, bands such as MAGGIE BELL, JOULES HOLLAND, WISHBONE ASH and THE HOAX grace us with their presence, if you require any further information on this then please just call...... The fox inn situated on the main road of the village and is just a moments walk to the breath taking views of welland valley with the choice of long local walks with beautiful views and countryside or a leisurely stroll to neighboring villages maybe even to try a pint elsewhere! The fox inn is close to many attractions if you fancy a walk further a field there is the famous foxton locks, also eyebrook reservoir and rutland water these are also popular if you enjoy fishing or boating. we are also very close to rockingham speedway a great day out for the family and rockingham castle. leicester race course is a 25 minute drive and of course if you just fancy a day of shopping but would like to relax in the evening out of the stresses of the city and towns we are only a few miles from Market harborough, corby, kettering or leicester!
