The Royal Hotel was built around 1813 and retains much of its original character. Split into 3 areas, all with open fires. There is the snug which over looks the beautiful countryside and has view over Sheffield and on a good day you can see far and beyond. The lounge at the front of the pub which is spacious. The Family room also at the front of the pub is a separate room, ideal for families, especially smaller children as there is a child’s gate at the entrance, which can be closed to keep the little ones safe, toys and games are also provided.
