Lakeland stone-built house erected in the 1800s, the house was originally a family house and was converted to a guesthouse in the 1980s. All rooms are modernised and some include en suite facilities, colour TVs and central heating, are provided for guests.
The proprietors are always on hand to ensure that comfort and hospitality are guaranteed. Windermere is an excellent base to explore the Lake District and is centrally located for daily excursions to all parts with public services connecting to all major towns. In Lakeland, viewing the lakes from the water is an ideal way to see the hills and mountains. The area now offers a number of all year round attractions, all within the reach of Windermere.
If your pleasure is hill walking, or just a leisurely couple of hours after breakfast then look no further, there are also plenty of attractions such as visiting the houses of Beatrix Potter or William Wordsworth, or even the aquarium at Lakeside. The Lake District is well known as being a great place to sample all kinds of food, from Ma's country cooking to connoisseur delights, they are all here to be sampled. You will not be disappointed.
