Lucy Cavendish College is situated in its own beautiful gardens within a 10 minute walk of the city centre but away from the hustle and bustle. The College is easily accessible from all major routes and offers free car parking by arrangement to its guests whilst staying in College.

The College has a reputation for being very friendly and relaxed. The site consists of three beautiful houses, built near the beginning of the 20th century, and four modern buildings. This gives a combination of the intimate atmosphere of domestic Victorian architecture with the advantages of modern up-to-date buildings.

Our accommodation houses undergraduate and graduate students during term time. The rooms are therefore not equipped to four-star hotel standard but they are clean, very comfortable and situated in buildings surrounded by our lovely gardens. All rooms are centrally heated, beds are made with duvets in covers, bath and hand towels are provided as well as complimentary toiletries. Tea and coffee making facilities are provided either in the bedroom or a nearby kitchen which is equipped so that guests can prepare snacks if they wish.

Single ensuite bedrooms are newly refurbished with six bedrooms per floor, each room having a window seat, perfrect for relaxing with a good book.

The Ground Floor Flat in Barrmore can either be booked as one bedroom with twin single beds or two bedrooms (one twin bedded room and one single room) suitable for three guests. If booking for 3 guests, please enter 2 guests in the Search field and make a note of the third guest in the Additional Information section of the booking form. If you wish to book the flat for three people, please enter the promotional code TRIPLE when booking.
