I would like to personally welcome you to my Hotel which I have owned and managed since 1992, Built in Late Victorian times, the Hotel, is located in a quiet, leafy suburb of Barrow-in-Furness, it is close to the Town Centre, Abbey Road, main railway station and convenient for both business and leisure visitors. Its sympathetic conversion from two Grand Houses into a hotel in the 1950s has ensured that each and every room is slightly different. All rooms are en suite and there is a choice of singles, twins, doubles or a family room. All rooms have TV s with Freeview , hospitality trays, trouser press and clock radio alarms. most with iPod docking connections A recently upgraded FREE WIFI Network is available in all bedrooms and through out the entire building .We also have our own safe secure private well lit car park for visitors use.

Barrow is located on the south western coast of the beautiful English Lake District on the Furness Peninsular and has beautiful, unspoilt beaches, imposing Victorian buildings, the beautiful and tranquil Furness Abbey and an Award winning 42 acre park a 5 minute stroll from the hotel if you want to unwind in the evening. Barrow is also well catered for Golfers with two Links 18 hole golf courses ,one 9 hole course and a driving range all with in easy reach of the Hotel I look forward to welcoming you to Michaelson House Hotel ,
