Welcome to Holidays Near Longleat, the place to find great accommodation for a fantastic holiday close to the world famous Longleat Estate on the borders of Wiltshire and Somerset. Much of this area is classified as "an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty", and set into this tranquil countryside is the glorious Longleat House and Safari Park, as seen on TV series such the BBC's "Animal Park" and CBBC's "Roar".. There is so much to see at Longleat that it's impossible to do it all in one day, but you can get passes for 2 days or even a full season. Most of the properties listed in this website are within a 6.5 mile radius of the Longleat Estate, so are genuinely nearby! As well as Longleat this part of England has a huge amount to see and do. The nearest city, Bath, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and rightly so. From the Roman Baths, through the magnificent Georgian buildings, to the Thermae Bath Spa and The Theatre Royal, Bath is a treasure. Other nearby World Heritage sites include Stonehenge and Avebury, where the TV series "To the Manor Reborn" was filmed. The Jurassic coast of Dorset, another World Heritage site, is also within range of the Longleat environs. Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole Caves, Glastonbury, Wells, Stourhead, Salisbury, Westbury's White Horse Hill, Lacock, Castle Combe, the Kennet and Avon Canal - these are just a few of the other places that people love to visit when they come to stay here. In fact there are so many why not come for a week or more, and take the opportunity to explore some more of England's great heritage and beautiful countryside?
