More Information

The Town House Hotel is a Family run hotel in the small town of Markinch approx 3 miles from Glenrothes in the Historic Kingdom of Fife. The hotel was a former coaching inn which has been extensively upgraded over a number of years, with the emphasis on traditional design, comfort and great food.

We have been recognised by various hotel guides including Egon Ronay for achieving the very highest standard and providing outstanding quality, warm hospitality and good value.

Although the emphasis at the Town House is on food, we also have a number of modern, individually decorated comfortable bedrooms. All rooms are furnished to a high standard, with colour television, radio alarm, tea and coffee making facilities, hair dryer and a complimentary small carafe of sherry. We have one family room which can accommodate a fold up bed. Children up to the age of 12 are accommodated free when sharing a parents room. The Town House Hotel prides itself on offering quality accommodation at affordable prices.

For the Golf enthusiasts there are over 40 golf courses in the county of Fife and at least 100 within an hours drive, including the Championship courses at St Andrews, Carnoustie and Gleneagles.
