Midland Air Museum houses a unique collection in the Sir Frank Whittle Jet Heritage Centre of aircraft, engines and supporting exhibits illustrating the fascinating story of the jet age.

Local aviation history is strongly featured by a 'Wings Over Coventry' gallery. There is a wealth of Coventry-produced aircraft and other exhibits dominated by the giant Armstrong Whitworth Argosy freighter of 1959.

On display is something to interest everyone, from the Hunter Bleriot to the supersonic lightning including such classics as the Meteor, Vulcan, Hunter, Starfighter and Phantom.

During WWII, Baginton Aerodrome was an RAF fighter station. Today, as Coventry Airport, it is a busy airport and the museum provides an excellent vantage point for watching the wide variety of aircraft using the airfield.

The Midland Air Museum offers a friendly welcome and an opportunity to experience at first hand the fascinating appeal of historic aircraft.
