The Amulree Hotel is a small family run hotel which strives to provide value for money. Built in 1714, a former Drover's Inn, the hotel is set deep in beautiful rural Perthshire with a stretch of the River Braan in it's own grounds, trout fishing is free to residents from the hotel's own banks. Permits are available from the Hotel for fishing in other stretches of the Braan for Trout and in nearby Loch Freuchie for Pike and Trout.
We are situated centrally for Crieff, Aberfeldy and Dunkeld all approximately a fifteen minute drive from the hotel on the A822.
Set by the delightfully scenic Sma' Glen and surrounded by hills teaming with wildlife, Roe deer and rare birds this hotel is situated perfectly for tourists, walkers, shooting parties and fishermen alike.
Highland Perthshire is a walker’s paradise from a gentle stroll in the clean fresh air to more demanding mountain climbing both in summer and winter.
The hotel has eleven comfortable bedrooms, eight of which are en-suite, a bar and a restaurant which seats forty. We take pride in providing good home cooked, mainly traditional Scottish fare, we are also open for lunches.
We can also cater for weddings of up to sixty people and it's close proximity to the Kirk at Amulree makes it ideal for a small country wedding.
