Aldeburgh is a quiet seaside town unspoilt by modern times, where fishermen still pull their boats up onto the shingle and sell their fish fresh from huts on the beach. Aldeburgh’s most famous resident was Benjamin Britten. The annual Festival of Music and the Arts which he began attracts many visitors every year. Aldeburgh Productions who run the Festival arrange many interesting musical events throughout the year at Aldeburgh and Snape Maltings.

Framlingham is an interesting small market town with an imposing Norman Castle. You can still walk around the battlements and admire the stunning views across the town mere and countryside.

Woodbridge is a riverside market town with Georgian architecture and many interesting buildings including a unique tidemill, windmill, museum. A wide variety of restaurants and cafes. An independent cinema which doubles as a theatre.
