I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself as the new face of The Starting Gate. Since taking over the starting gate at the beginning of October 2009, we have strived to build this beautiful pub back to its former glory - a true British pub. Something that today is far and few between.
We are a family run business and gladly welcome children till 9pm. We serve food 12-9 everyday and its good homecooked food at a tempting price. Our clean crisp lagers, ales and ciders are becoming a clear favourite by all and our sky sports, darts, pool and cribbage games are flying.
