Backways is a characterful 17th Century farmhouse in a rural setting with spacious rooms, new central heating and large modern en-suites. Guests have a sitting-room with inglenook fireplace, wood-burning stove and comfortable sofas.

Only 3 miles from M5 J26, we are an ideal base for both north and south coasts, Taunton, Exeter, Somerset Levels, Quantocks, Exmoor and the Blackdown Hills only a short ramble away. Local walks can start from our door or you can be dropped further afield.

We are situated down our own quiet lane near Wellington with a view of the Monument and our own cobbled courtyard with ample parking and swallows darting into our barns in summer. Near the Devon border, we are close to historic houses and gardens and local pubs. Near Sustrans cycle route, lock-up facilities are available.

Whether you just want to relax or hit the sights, we would be delighted to welcome you into our home.
