Described as one of the finest country guest houses in North Wales, our Snowdonia luxury hideaway a short drive from the village of Betws-y-Coed offers unique and intimate accommodation and a gourmet sanctuary for the discerning traveller, who seeks the ultimate of a Bed & Breakfast holiday in North Wales. The traditional 17th century Welsh stone exterior belies, what lies within, for once inside the entranceway opens into a stunning sequence of intimate, immaculately designed rooms, where a fusion of traditional and contemporary style is allied with simplicity.

We provide six extremely well appointed full en-suite guest bedrooms with a selection of King 5 and Super King 6 wide beds, some benefiting from the magnificent views over the garden and beyond to the background of the imposing Snowdonia Mountain range, the ever changing swooping scenery of the verdant Conwy Valley and the majestic Gwydir Forest shrouded with early morning mist. All of our bedrooms rooms are provided with TV/DVD/CD, Free Wi-Fi, Direct Dial Telephone, Beverage Tray, Bath Robes, Toiletries and Hair Dryers.

Individual dining tables in our morning Breakfast Room make the perfect showcase for our AA Award Winning breakfast, which can only be described as utterly delicious. Our focus is on the very best of local, and where possible organic ingredients. We also provide dinner for our guests which is by prior booking only at 50.00 per person for 3 courses, which is served in our Fine Dining Room at 7.30.pm one sitting. We provide a small daily changing menu with a choice of two on each course, vegetarian dishes are not catered for, a sample menu can be viewed on our web site along with all relevant room information and photographs

Tan y Foel is ideally situated for the many tourist attractions, with miles of public footpaths, mountain bike riding, lake fishing and cycling these are but a few exciting adventures that are on offer in the area.
