Thatched country cottage hotel in the heart of Thomas Hardy country, approximately halfway between his birthplace and Max Gate, where Hardy died. The restaurant and lounge have exposed beams and inglenook fireplaces, while the bedrooms have modern facilities including, Wifi, colour televisions and DVD players, direct-dial telephones and en-suite bathrooms with both bath and shower.
