This magnificent gardens has been described as one of the best newly created gardens in recent times situated in a commanding position with spectacular views over Luce Bay and The Mull Of Galloway the focal point of the garden centres around two small lakes where there is a collection of wild fowl and red squirrels.
Hard to believe that the garden (12 acres) was only begun in 1980, hewn from a hillside covered in bracken and gorse
The effects of the Gulf Stream allow exotic plants to thrive . Large collections of interesting trees and shrubs from around the world including embothrium from Chili, eucalyptus, rhododendrons and hydrangeas flourish amongst this maze of hilly plantings.
A peaceful haven with seats and winding paths for all to enjoy.
