The Cairndale Hotel and Leisure Club is ideally situated in the centre of Dumfries opposite the Regional Council Offices,adjacent to the new DG1 Leisure complex and situated only 50 yards from town centre shops, Odeon Cinema and Theatre Royal (Scotland's oldest working theatre). Close to Robert Burns House and Visitor Centre . Forest walks and Mountain Biking at Mabie and Ae a short drive .

The hotel offers a total of 91 letting bedrooms with the majority of rooms having bath and shower with a limited number of ground floor rooms and rooms with walk in showers available on request. Recent upgrading has seen the refurbisment of 30 bedrooms in the hotel where the feel is modern and contemporary.

Extensive leisure facilities in the Barracuda Club include a 14m heated indoor swimming pool, sauna, steam room, hot spa bath and an air conditioned gymnasium which hotel residents enjoy free use of during their stay. The services of a beautician is also available by appointment. Regular weekend entertainment in the hotel includes Dinner Dances,Cabaret / Tribute Nights and Traditional Scottish Ceilidh Nights every Sunday night from May to October.
