In one of the finest of the Yorkshire Dales situated just off Reeth green is The Arkleside Hotel providing peace and quiet with cottage comfort combined with spectacular panoramas across Swaledale.

Resident proprietors Andy and Lesley ensure a warm welcome in what has been called their “home from home” hotel where you arrive as guests and leave as friends. Once a row of Lead miners cottages this eight bed-roomed ‘Pet Friendly’ hotel, has been tastefully refurbished, offering a high standard of comfort in what can only be described as a wonderfully peaceful setting.

Take time to relax in the lounge browsing the wide selection of books and maps and enjoy one of those rest-a-while moments or maybe take a drink in the bar which is the ideal place to gather for drinks before dinner.

Dinner is served in the candle lit restaurant choosing from menu, which is changed daily, a selection of dishes produced from locally sourced ingredients ……in short its what you’d expect from a small privately run country hotel.

Voted one of the top 50 best value for money hotels in the UK by The Good Hotel Guide….The Arkleside Hotel, Reeth.
