The Old Black Lion is a l7th Century Coaching Inn situated in the centre of Hay on Wye, the worlds largest second hand book centre. Also surrounded by spectacular countryside & views. Walkers are frequent visitors to be town, but there are other activities such as canoeing, fishing, pony trecking etc.

The Inn has an award winning restaurant which is also open to non-residents. There is also a less formal bar where you can dine with log burning stove in the Winter or a delightful patio garden in the Summer.

All ten bedrooms have been individually designed to a very high stndard and whether you are staying the night or just coming to dinner, you can be sure of a friendly welcome.
