As it is situated along the line of the DART train and a busy bus route, the city is never more than 30 minutes away. To the south are the suburbs of Blackrock (1.6 km), Dun Laoghaire (4.8 km) and Dalkey (8 km), where you can find shops, entertainment, great restaurants and relaxing beach walks.
