Norwood Park is often described as one of England’s finest examples of Georgian country house venues. It combines both Georgian architecture, attributed to John Carr of York, with over one hundred acres of deer parkland, adorned with ancient oaks and orchards born out of the original Bramley apple developed in Southwell in the 1840’s. The golf course at Norwood Park was designed by the American Clyde B. Johnston. He succeeded in creating a magnificent layout with undulating greens & plentiful water, which blends perfectly with the historic parkland setting. Built to USGA standards, at 6805 yards long, the course will appeal to all golfers. Vistors & guests of members are welcome to play the course. We offer a range of prices for visitors and guests based on playing 9 holes, 18 holes or a full day & have packages for weekdays, weekends & bank holidays. With our academy course that opened April 2009, there is little doubt that, with its superb surroundings and challenging course, Norwood Park is rapidly becoming one of the top venues in the area.
