Set in parkland in a rural location, our camping facilities are an ideal base for exploring the surrounding countryside and all the local attractions Rutland has to offer. We are open all year round with more than 200 pitches available for camping in four different areas. Limited electrical hook ups are available. You are also welcome to bring your family pet instead of leaving them at home. On site we have a small shop for those last minute items you may have left behind and full facilities are available in our shower and toilet block. For the keen angler we have two course fishing lakes available on site, nearby you will find Rutland Water and Eyebrook Fishing reservoirs that both offer trout fishing. Besides fishing, Rutland Water offers a fully range of leisure facilities including sailing, wind surfing, cycling, golf, horse riding and bird watching. For the family day out, Rutland Water has a Butterfly & Aquatic Centre, Nature Reserve and number of open access areas for picnics. The camping site is located on the edge of Wing village which has one public house offering a range of food with full restaurant facilities. If you fancy exploring further afield, there are public houses located in our three nearest villages and Uppingham town is only three miles away and Oakham is just five miles.
