Situated in a leafy Surrey village, The King William IV offers a quality gastro pub experience in a relaxed and homely atmosphere. We have tried to combine contemporary details and a modern quality offer, without losing any of the traditional character of this beautiful historic building. Welcoming well-trained staff, hand written specials boards, well kept Real Ales, fresh flowers and perfectly served wine; these are all part of the attention to detail that we strive to achieve, in order to deliver a consistently satisfying experience to you, the customer.

During the colder months you can gather round a roaring log fire and in the Summer, dine alfresco in the beer garden or have a glass of chilled wine on the decked patio terrace. The King William offers a wide selection of alcoholic and soft drinks, with a fantastic wine list - we have 11 wines by the glass - and there is always a local Surrey produced Real Ale on tap. The Conservatory Restaurant overlooks the well kept rear garden and we recently extended the decked Patio, to provide an alfresco Dining area under the Jasmine Pergola. We also regularly have Saturday lunchtime barbecues throughout the Summer (weather permitting!) and an annual Summer Party in aid of Cherry Trees Respite Care Home (local charity).

The full menu is available where ever you want to sit in the pub; informal comfort dining on sofas or in the bar area around the fireplace, or you can have friendly, more formal, full table service in the Restaurant. Our resident Chef and her kitchen team produce mouth watering specials on a daily basis ˆ check the blackboards and ask the bar staff for what is on offer that day. Vegetarians are well catered for as our Executive Chef is one!

Children are welcome and we always have a large selection of toys and board games, plus a kid‚s menu. We even have water bowls to cater for your thirsty dogs after that long walk through the Surrey Hills!
