The St. Mawes Hotel is set right on the waters edge and has been substantially refurbished and modernized in the last few years. Although we call it a Hotel we like to think of ourselves as more of a bar with rooms; so not to disappoint those who seek to find traditional hotel accommodation.

St. Mawes is situated at the end of the Roseland Peninsula and is known as one of the most idyllic harbor villages within Cornwall and the UK. St. Mawes benefits from a temperate climate making it a year round treat. For those wishing to relax you could not have found a more beautiful or peaceful resort for your Cornish holiday.

As well as offering Hotel accommodation the St. Mawes Hotel is known for our Cafe Bar that is used by many sipping on a coffee or Cornish cream tea; while watching the world go by; or perhaps a spot of Breakfast Lunch or Dinner. The hub of the hotel is our 2 Cafe bars. The ground floor bar that opens out onto the street in the summer; makes you feel that you could be on the French Rivera rather that in the UK. Our First floor coffee lounge which includes another bar; offers a pool table and comfortable seating; as well as a balcony to make the most of superb views of the St Mawes.

We have an extensive bar that stocks a variety if New and Old world wines and of course our Local Cornish real ales; and are frequent hosts of local bands and artists throughout the year. Cornwall is quickly becoming a Mecca within the UK; for food lovers that flock to Cornwall for the sheer quality of our freshly caught fish and shellfish. Our chef works hard to provide a sumptuous selection of modern and traditional dishes that provide the best quality ingredients from with Cornwall and the UK.
