So-named due to its location, right next to the River Avon, this Guesthouse has been around for as long as anyone can remember (at least 60 years), so it must be doing something right. Small, friendly and full much of the time, it's especially popular with people wanting a to see the sites of Bristol and surronding areas in the South West. It is one mile from Bristol Temple Meads Train station, 1.5 miles from Bristol Bus Station and 10 minutes from Bristol Historic Harbourshide and the SS Great Brittan. Most of Bristols resturant, theatres and night life are based around the Harbourside. As it is family run there is alot of flexibility and we cater for every one from couples wanting a city break, families with children to large groups of tourists. It's located on a busy main road, 10 minutes by foot from the city centre harbour area (where most of the action and some great attractions are these days), so is very handily-placed. Guests are given keys, so no need to worry about draconian curfews. Please feel free to telephone and ask for Alison or Paul who will be pleased to answer any questions.
