Portovino is a newly renovated striking stone building which enjoys an elevated position overlooking the River Barrow with stunning views over New Ross and its hinterland. The pièce de resistance of the establishment are the two spacious balconies, overlooking the River Barrow in walking distance from The Dunbrody, a 19th Century three masted sailing ship that brought many emigrants to North America during the famine. The JFX memorial park & gardens and the Kennedy homestread are only a short drive away. The lobby is petit , with modern and stylish decor, offering a limited seating area. This is a designer boutique hotel, situated on the banks of the barrow, on John Street. An excellent central location in the heart of the New Ross.
