In the heart of rural Wiltshire, minutes from the ancient mounds and henges of Salisbury Plain, close to the spires of Salisbury & Winchester, an hour from beautiful Georgian Bath, and half an hour from the beautiful gardens of Stourhead, lies The Angel at Hindon.
A beautifully-restored 18th century coaching inn, The Angel was originally known as the Grosvenor Arms. Prior to its construction in 1750 a medieval inn, The Angel, existed on the site. Offering many original features, wooden floors, beams, huge stone fireplace, alongside our contemporary and elegant restaurants, The Angel has a mood for everyone, whether traditional or modern.
Enjoy eclectic and inspirational menus, produced from only the finest local and seasonal ingredients and a refreshing and elegant selection of fine wines from around the world. Our service is attentive, friendly, personal and professional. So, if you would like hand-pulled local real ale in genuine tradition and a relaxed dining experience, please come and join us!
We have seven, beautifully appointed rooms, both doubles and twins and two for families, all en-suite. Featuring original features, and furnished in harmony with its 18th century origins as a coaching house, each room retains an individual charm, while offering the sumptuous comforts of modern living.

Breakfast is served from 8.00 - 9.30am Monday to Friday, 8.30 - 10.00am Saturday and Sunday. If you wish to skip breakfast, a packed lunch can be provided. All prices are per night and inclusive of breakfast.
