The Hotel is situated quietly yet conveniently in the sleepy village of Bunessan on the only route to and from the Iona Ferry landing some 5 miles away at Fionnphort.

The Argyll Arms is the perfect base from which to explore the island and near by Iona, either by car or on foot if walking is your forte, or by bike. The Hotel can be found along the main road in the village of Bunessan, situated at the water's edge and set in the stunning surroundings of the Ross of Mull. En route to the Hotel you will pass through some of the most spectacular scenery that the Western Isles has to offer. According to recent newspaper reports Mull is now the most wildlife watched area in the British Isles. It’s worth coming to the Argyll Arms for the drive alone. Just come off the ferry at Craignure and turn left, enjoy the journey, when you arrive there will be a warm welcome waiting for you.
