In a village location on the delightful, unspoilt and historic Holy Island of Lindisfarne, these Grade II listed fishermen's cottages offer modern comforts whilst retaining charm and original character. Just minutes away there are sandy beaches, Winery (home of the famous Lindisfarne Mead), Lindisfarne Castle (N.T.) and Priory. The island (accessible only by causeway at low tide; the owner provides timetables), remains a tranquil haven for walkers and bird watchers, yet lies only 5 miles from good roads on the mainland, and within easy reach of Bamburgh Castle, Seahouses for boat trips to the Farne Islands' bird and seal colonies, and Alnwick Gardens (25 miles). Shop 200 yards, pub 500 yards.
