More Information

This is bed and breakfast at its best - superb hospitality in a comfortable stylish home in beautiful surroundings. Broadhayes is a spacious house with spectacular views of farms and moorland and set in a quiet Devon village. With over an acre of beautiful gardens, Broadhayes is a relaxed, comfortable house with a luxurious touch, where you will be treated with genuine warm hospitality. It goes without saying that you will enjoy a sumptuous breakfast of seasonal fruits, a range of cereals and locally baked breads, and the traditional English cooked breakfast using local produce (so local, you can hear the hens clucking!) and some nice culinary touches. You are also bound to enjoy the large bedrooms, each with its own special character and with doors leading to terraces and the garden. You'll probably enjoy the luxury shower rooms and bathrooms, the fresh flowers and even the rather nicely appointed tea and coffee tray. We want our guests to relax and enjoy Broadhayes -there's a cosy sitting room for guests, with doors leading out to a wisteria clad terrace, and a dining room overlooking the garden and hills and fields and woodland, and more fields and hills.....There are books, and music, a television, games, magazines and newspapers. Then there's the wonderful village of Broadhempston on the doorstep, a bit of heaven in Devon with a touch of Dibley about it. There's very little traffic, no street lamps (so look out for a sky full of stars on clear nights), an ancient church, a traditional shop and two thriving pubs. It's a great place to wander and relax, yet it's within just a few miles of Dartmoor, Totnes, the River Dart, Torbay, the coast and the cities of Exeter and Plymouth. There's Dartington music and literature, there's golf, walking and hiking, messing about in boats, riding or simply relaxing. It's the place to be!
