All guest rooms at Edenbank House are unique and elegantly furnished, many with stunning views. All rooms have tea / coffee facilities, Breakfast is considered a bit of an event, so look forward to a full Scottish breakfast using the best produce such as bacon and sausages from the local butcher and organic, free-range eggs from a neighbouring farm. Jams are homemade and honey is from our own beehives, if available. The guest lounge is available as a place to relax, read, chat or even watch television. The room has comfortable armchairs, a TV and a good selection of books to browse through. Kelso itself is at the confluence of the Tweed and the Teviot rivers and is one of the most attractive and unspoilt of all the Borders towns. Notable features are the 12th century abbey, the Flemish-style cobbled Square, Floors Castle and the old bridge across the Tweed from which you can watch the fishermen on the world famous Junction Pool. Kelso still has many quality, independent shops and an impressive selection of eating places from which to choose, bearing in mind the town's population is about 6,000. Edenbank is a special place and we are very proud of it. We do all that we can to ensure that visitors are happy and relaxed and we're confident that our efforts are worthwhile. So, whether you are looking for an energetic holiday or just the chance to get away from it all, come to Edenbank and let the clean Borders air work its magic. We hope your first visit will not be your last!
