This family-run hotel is within easy reach of the JJB Stadium, the Robin Park Sports complex, the Three Sisters race track, Haydock Racecourse and the Reebok Stadium. Situated on the A573 main road into Wigan, the Coaching Inn Hotel has a convenient location, whatever your reason for visiting the region. Just a mile (1.6 km) from the city centre, the hotelís offers easy access to the regionís major road network. There is a good, regular bus service to and from the city centre. Free, secure, private parking is available for guestsí use.

Built in 1895, this Victorian hotel is rich in individual character, with 18 clean and comfortable en suite rooms (no clean-cut lines like modern hotels). Each room provides an office desk and tea/coffee making facilities. Family owned and run for over 30 years, the hotel takes great pride in the relaxed, friendly atmosphere, informal surroundings and warm welcome it offers. The hotel has a small restaurant/bar area, offering home-cooked food in the evenings. A strict no-smoking policy operates throughout the hotel.
The hotelís secure car park has lockable gates.
To ensure a peaceful nights rest for guests, closed-circuit TV cameras operate both inside and outside the property, as the Coaching Inn Hotel does not tolerate rowdy behaviour.
