More Information

Frog Street drives its name from a medieval meeting place. It is tucked away in the depths of Somerset and surrounded by beautiful gardens and open farmland, yet on 6.5 miles from the M5. This Somerset longhouse dates back to the 15th Century and has plenty of charm and character including beamed ceilings, Jacobean panelling and open fireplaces. Here you will find character and comfort in equal measures. Outside, horses in the fields along with cows and sheep, riverside walks across the open farmland. Inside, private guest lounge with log fire, plenty of original beams and Jacobean panelling, along with luxurious bedrooms and bathrooms.Frog Street’s bedrooms are each distinctively different and individually decorated to the highest standard. Bedrooms look out on to farmland, cider apple orchards and the pretty garden. They are all spacious and comfortable, with white Egyptian cotton bedding, and a mix of antique and French style furniture. The atmosphere is friendly, restful and unpretentious. We provide a cooked, full English breakfast using the very best local produce, including our own free range eggs, local butcher's sausages and homemade preserves. A choice of vegetarian and continental breakfast is also available. An evening meal can be provided but must be pre-booked, dietary requirements can be catered for. This is a haven of tranquillity for those seeking to escape the noise and stress of the modern world. Whatever the time of year, you are guaranteed a relaxing, unforgettable experience.
