The Dunskey Guest House is a family run business which as been run for the last 7 years by Gareth & Teresa Cole. We pride ourselves on offering our guest a warm welcome and an relaxing stay. Set just a few minutes walk away from the bustling harbour and just 50 yards from one of the best golf courses in south west Scotland(Portpatrick Golf Club) we our ideally situated whatever your requirements may be. Formerly the Dunskey Golf Hotel, the Dunskey Guest House is an ideal base for your holiday in Portpatrick. It sits in its own private grounds overlooking the picturesque village of Portpatrick in the south west of Scotland. Just a couple of minutes walk away, you will find the harbour and the seafront, various craft shops, friendly pubs and a great choice of restaurants. For those of you who enjoy outdoor activities, Dunskey Guest House is ideal for golfing holidays as we are only 50 yards away from Portpatrick Golf Club, and we can offer concessionary rates at 6 local golf courses. We have a key-pad locked storage room should you wish to store golf clubs, bicycles or wet & dirty clothes! Trekkers are particularly well catered for, whether on two feet or four! Portpatrick is at the western end of the Southern Upland Way (long distance coast-to-coast walk) and there are also many less-challenging rambles to be had near the village. Horse riding and pony trekking are also available nearby and can be arranged by the hour as required. All our rooms are centrally heated with ensuite factilities. All have Freeview, DVD Players, Hairdryers and a tea & Coffee welcome tray
