Foxton

Foxton Locks – a staircase of 10 locks on the Grand Union Canal near Market Harborough. Here has been an important place in canal history for the last 200 years & there used to be an inclined plane (boat lift) here. The locks are operational & navigating them is a challenge, but has to be done! The Foxton Locks Inn is a fantastic pub offering tasty food, perfect to moor up & sample or take a break from walking along the towpath, where there’s an abundance of wildlife to see - Carolyn
